Dimensions: FAQ ---------- Q: The Granite-10D doesn't play or it sounds defective. A: Actual DOA cases are almost nonexistent with this product as is with all our passive speaker products. When this product is reported as faulty at initial start up it is almost always because the installer wired the dual voice coil with inverse polarity. When wired with inverse polarity the two coils drive forces cancel each other out and very little sound is produced. As long as only limited power is applied to it they can simply be correctly wired and the problem is solved. If however two much power has been applied, the voice coils can burn and the woofer becomes permanently damaged. Please verify correct wiring. |
